Arrived at Kathy & Steve's beautiful home last night. I think I need GPS to find my way around. What fabulous home. We had our own guest suite! Kathy made a delicious lasagna and a great salad and we talked all evening.
Today Kathy and I went to La France! What a great antique place. It just went on and on and on. Of course we made some purchases. We also stopped at delightful road side veggie stand and purchased some delicious produce. Kathy also took me to Navarre beach, what a beautiful place! It was not all built up with high rises. It looked like a beach should look. The waves were rough and sand was blowing. The sand was so white, so many birds flying and fishing. It was such a peaceful scene. Wild Oat grass was growing at the National Seashore. It was so beautiful. What a great place to relax and meditate.
The guys went off to do "MAN" stuff. They visited the Air Force Armament Museum. They meant a retired vet who saw that Steve was retired air force and took the fellows under his wing. They never made the tour, because he had so many interesting stories to share. And of course, Steve knew everything about the 29 planes about the aircraft walking tour. They had a wonderful time.
Now home, with a glass of wine and wait for our prime rib dinner! Great day!
