John and Liz Travels

Had fun yesterday going to bars and listening to music on Broadway.   Then on to Nissan stadium to see the drill teams and light show. Another great day in a fun  city.

Great day at corvette museum celebrating 25th anniversary of museum. Began day with beautiful ride in Kentucky.  Ended day with Jefferson starship concert and fireworks

Fun and relaxing day at the Gaylord!

Monday -  we walked over to the Opryland mills, a giant shopping plaza right next to our hotel. It was so huge! Walked the mall, I have a quick bite to eat and then stopped at madame Tussauds wax museum. Didn’t really know what to expect, but it was a lot of fun. We even got to dress up and take photos. We headed back to the hotel for a quick rest and got ready for our next adventure. We went to third and Lindsley . A small club in Nashville where we listened to the group called the Time jumpers. Really authentic country music. They were excellent! They even have won a Grammy! The food there was great too! Another fabulous day in Nashville. A really great city to visit

Sunday we took  The old town trolley into downtown Nashville. We explored the city. First we went to the Johnny Cash museum. It was amazing! After that we  hopped on the trolley and made our way to the country  Music Hall of Fame. We knew more about country music than we thought. Then we went over to kid rock’s café and met our friends for drinks and listen to music. It was a blast! We headed back to the hotel and freshened up and had a really nice dinner at Ravello, and Italian restaurant at the Gaylord. A really great day!
