John and Liz Travels

Trip home going well.  Traffic light,    Anxious to be home -half way there!

John and I will be cutting our trip short and heading home.   To all of you, please stay safe and healthy.  I hope we can all have a big group hug soon! 🤗

Doing my part for social distancing!  It is rough,  but someone has to do it.

Still in Florida.   The county we are in has a low number of cases.  Not sure yet when we are heading home.  Will evaluate situation here, home and family.   To all my dear friends - please be safe and well!

 Crazy couple of days in Daytona     Bike week!    Strange people, wild   Bikes and lots of skimpy clothing!  Beach is beautiful!

Fun day with Vince and Louise in Daytona.  First lunch at the north turn right on the beach.  Then off to Daytona international speedway for the trade show.  Next stop Main Street to see all the crazies ) pix not included)  final stop crabBy’s for dinner.   Great coconut shrimp.   Then a beautiful ride along the river to the lighthouse and then home for cribbage.  A very full day!

Made our annual pilgrimage to Ron Jon in coco beach to get the obligatory annual tshirt. Stopped at three key lime  company and met this guy!

 Great dinner at the Italian kitchen in Vero, followed by a beautiful sunset ride home.

Eww eww ewww! Lizard got into the condo today.  My hero, John the lizard hunter eliminated the threat

Another beautiful day by pool and ocean.  Just relaxed on boardwalk eating Lunch and watching the waves.   Life is good!🤗

Another beautiful day-84!  Love bugs were out tho-ugh.  Pool time and chatting with new friends.   Went for a nice walk this morning.  Went for a ride and now home for a pasta dinner.

Such a great day.   A good nights rest, a yummy breakfast followed by a walk.  Then off to the pool for a day of relaxation with our good friends , Vince and Louise.  Of course the mandatory trip to the tiki bar😊🌞🍸  Day didn’t end there.   A fun dinner filled with  laughs and good food at 2nd street bistro.   And despite getting whooped by the guys in cribbage when we got home, it was a fabulous day!  By the way did I mention the great sunset.  These are the types of days that are special.  Life is good.

Windy, cool day today.   Good day for errands.   It was definitely a retired (aka- old person👵🏻) day!   Got a hair cut and then went to Dixie cream for donuts! (A 100 year old business-no they are not stale!).  Then to the farm stand and to grand opening of a new grocery store, then home for a nap!!!  Wow I think I just watched a snail crawl by!  So much excitement!!!!  🤣🤣🤣

Another  beautiful day today!   84 today.   Went to sauders landing for dinner today.   Had the best crab cakes ever!

Arrived at ocean village yesterday afternoon.  Unpacked car ( can see out of the back again!)  got settled, got groceries.  This condo is nicer than last years.  Going for a walk, maybe pool later.  February in Florida!!!!

Very windy day today on Singer Island. Quite cloudy, but not raining. Spent a lot of time just looking at the waves and whitecaps from the balcony. Had a nice lunch at Doris’s market, a true Italian market! Brought home some nice pastries and a bottle of rose for later. A very relaxing day🌴🍰🍷

renewed our vows on the beach today!  Almost 40 years!

Spent time at the pool, took a nap, played a little mahjong and then to a nice dinner at the river house.   A fabulous day!!

Arrived at ocean pointe!   Ahhhhhhh!

After having a nice breakfast at Dimitri’s, we packed up from my brothers to head to west palm beach for a few days.  First we stopped at the racetrack to watch the cars practice for the twelves hours of Sebring.   (Can’t wait to get away from the pine pollen!!!!)
